The Sunday Jones Comedy Radio Show Episode 9 - KCMB News Kansas City

Only two episodes of The Sunday Jones left in this season! The reason that we created The Sunday Jones (and the meaning of the name) is that when football season came to an end in February, we didn't have anything to do on Sundays so we were "jones-ing" for football.

SOOOO.....With football season returning in two weeks, our last show will be Sunday September 1st.

In the meantime, we will be switching over to a new show that will air on Wednesdays called The Wednesday Hump. This show will be exciting and upbeat just like The Sunday Jones, but we will be focusing a little bit more on the Chiefs and the NFL along with some great comedy and special guests.

This week on The Sunday Jones Comedy Radio Show the panel discusses local news stories, The Kansas City Royals and The Kansas City Chiefs.

This week the panel will discuss Patrick's .1 K race for charity in Waldo - that's right!  We said POINT 1 K race - Kristin and Adam participated in this extremely short race for charity and had a killer time. Listen in to hear about what happened at Patrick's .1 K race in 2013 in Waldo!

Comedy Radio in Kansas City - The Sunday Jones Episode 6

Episode 6 of The Sunday Jones Comedy Radio Show in Kansas City is on the air!  Today's guests are Marky Mark and his son Zach who has been recruited to play football at NWMS - our other spectacular guests include Mikey our technical producer, Josh and Michaela, and Adam and Carly.

The topics today are: 

Kansas City Metro Bus Shooting and Stabbing - the panel discusses the recent shooting and stabbing on the Metro and the fact that a group of people are putting together a "peace watch" team of amateur "bodyguards" who are going to ride the buses through the ghetto and watch out for problems. These ad hock groups are not sanctioned by the Metro OR the City of Kansas City so they are a lawsuit waiting to happen!

The Kansas City Chiefs - with the Chiefs getting ready to play their first preseason games the panel discusses the improvements they have made etc.

Our famous VS topic this week will be RAPID FIRE - Mikey will fire out questions at random at the panel and they will make their choices on the fly!
